Everything in the universe is made up of energy. The earth, the ocean, the trees and us, we all are connected through an invisible force embodied in us. This invisible energy however leaves behind its presence everywhere through the simplest form of geometry - the line. 

 

The contours of the land, the waves of the sea, the horizon in the sky, the roads, the buildings, the trees, the koru, and the Pohutukawa. 

 

This series of work is an abstraction of the Aotearoa realm and everything in it interwoven and interconnected through lines. The colours chosen for the art are earthy and are inspired by the landscape of New Zealand.
